The Scottish Highlands

After the Culloden Battle the government began to hunt down and slaughter the rebels, dismantle Highland society and the kilt and tartan were banned. Terrible times. With our history lesson over, we crossed the bridge at Beauly Firth and headed to the Glen Ord Distillery near Inverness.
